Described by Gigwise as “the glorious lovechild of Klaxons and Justice”, Pariis Opera House are an electronic music duo based in London.
Since bursting onto the scene on 11/11/11 with single IDKWLI, the duo have gone on to remix for the likes of Island Records (The Wanted - Chasing The Sun) and Infectious (Local Natives - Breakers), while appearing as themselves on British television series Hollyoaks in 2012.
A string of single releases led to their 2014 debut studio album UNIIVERSE, and a feature on BBC Introducing, where Tom Robinson advised they were “definitely an outfit to keep track of” – wise advice as the single DRAGNDROP, released at the end of 2013, was picked up by Lauren Laverne, racking up plays on BBC Radio 6 Music at the hands of Tom Robinson, Nemone, and Lauren herself.
2014 saw Pariis Opera House debut their live show, supporting Example, Zane Lowe and Edith Bowman at UK festivals and club nights.
The band's tracks have received widespread use in the media, with sync placements on Hollywood films (Hello My Name is Doris), advertising (Datsun, W Hotels, Jack Wills) and prime-time TV shows on major broadcasters (Sky, MTV, PBS, NBC, BBC, ITV, C4).
2015 saw the band sign to Sentric Music, representing the likes of Doc Brown, Coco and Imani Williams, and subsequently head back into the studio to record their much-anticipated second album, due at the end of 2017.
